On August 13, a packed audience gathered at Fort Worth’s New City Hall for an insightful Fireside Chat with newly appointed City Manager Jay Chapa. The event brought together community members, civic leaders, and stakeholders for a candid conversation about the city’s future.
The evening was expertly moderated by Sandra McGlothlin of Empire Holdings, who guided the discussion through some of the most pressing issues facing Fort Worth today, including rapid growth, infrastructure demands, housing challenges, and the delicate balance of development and preserving the city’s unique identity.
Set against the backdrop of New City Hall, the venue itself underscored a theme of progress and collaboration. As Chapa emphasized throughout the conversation, it will take strong partnerships and shared purpose to shape Fort Worth’s next chapter.
A special thank-you to our event sponsors, The Beck Group, The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth , and Empire Holdings, and to everyone who attended and contributed to a meaningful evening of dialogue and connection.
