Bowie Holland wins Impact Award

At the 2025 REC of GRW (Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth) Annual Meeting, Empire Holdings sponsored The Excellence Award.  The award recipient was LaMonica Smith, City of Fort Worth.  The award honors exceptional individuals within city or county government who go above and beyond in fostering urban and regional development.  These Dedicated leaders embody innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to enhancing our community’s growth and prosperity.  Bowie stated, “LaMonica exemplifies everything this award describes, and we are lucky to have her working at the City of Fort Worth.

To his surprise, Bowie was awarded the Danny Scarth REC Impact Award.  The award was presented by Jeff Postell, CEO of Post L Group.  This award is named in honor of Danny Scarth’s legacy, This award celebrates an individual who has demonstrated stellar support and dedication to the Real Estate Council.  Whether their contributions span years or are recent but significant, their impact on our mission cannot be overstated.  Jeff Postel stated, “Bowie Holland has exemplified this dedication through his commitment to strengthening our industry and fostering meaningful connections within the community.

The event was held in Arlington, Texas for the first time at The Jack Daniels Club in Choctaw Stadium on April 3, 2025.  This year also was the REC 20th anniversary.
